The Zebra class were set an exciting engineering challenge: to design and build a sturdy, comfortable chair for Teddy using different types of LEGO. Working in teams, the children explored a variety of bricks, plates, and specialty pieces to test which shapes and structures would make their chair strong and stable. They carefully planned their designs, thinking about balance, height, and support, before building and improving their models. Through creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, the class discovered how different LEGO pieces can be combined to create a successful design for Teddy’s special chair.
