On the 16th of April we had a whole school Epilepsy Awareness Day. We learnt all about epilepsy in our class. The colour for raising awareness for epilepsy is purple. We did lots of art activities using the colour purple. We played a board game to learn more about epilepsy and we even got our own purple bracelets to promote awareness around epilepsy.
Every child in the school cut out their own purple handprint. We created a whole school display using each student's handprint from each class. We have it on display just inside the front door of the school.
